Travel: How to get to the Wedding Venue

We are offering free shuttle service to and from Downtown Cayucos to the Wedding Venue and back!! More information on the pickup and drop off location will be provided at a later time. The venue is located on a historic dairy ranch in the hills of Cayucos. Therefore, there is limited cell service at the venue, and rideshare services will not be available for pickup from the venue. Please plan accordingly. There is parking available on the venue site. If you choose to drive to the wedding venue, but end up drinking too much, please note that you can leave your car at the venue overnight as well.

Travel: How to get to Cayucos

There are several ways to get to Cayucos, including by car, train, or plane! If you choose to travel by train or plane, please note you will still likely need to rent a car, or use a rideshare service to get into Cayucos from the major train stations and airports nearby. We've provided some information below on different travel options:

Flight

San Luis Obispo Airport, Los Angeles Airport, or San Francisco Airport

San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is a small, local airport and is located about 30 minutes south of Cayucos, CA. Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines fly into the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport, and have select nonstop options. If you choose to fly into this airport, you will either need to rent a car, or use a rideshare service to get to Cayucos. There are several airports in the Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Los Angeles is located approximately 3.5 hours south of Cayucos, CA. If you choose to fly into Los Angeles, you will need to rent a car and drive 3.5 hours up the beautiful Southern California Coast. Some major destinations to hit on the way to Cayucos from Los Angeles include Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. There are also several airports in the San Francisco/Bay Area, including San Francisco International Airport (SFO). San Francisco is located approximately 3.5 hours north of Cayucos, CA. If you choose fly into San Francisco, you will need to rent a car and drive 3.5 hours down the beautiful Northern California Coast. Some major destinations to hit on the way to Cayucos include Monterey and Big Sur.

Train

San Luis Obispo Train Station

The Amtrak and Pacific Surfliner service the San Luis Obispo area. Please note that the train will drop you off in San Luis Obispo, and you would be responsible for getting to Cayucos from San Luis Obispo by car, rideshare, or bus.

Accommodations: Where should I stay?

Most of the coast is filled with cute beachside motels and bed and breakfasts. You can stay in Cayucos, Morro Bay, or Cambria for easy access to the wedding, coastal views, and fun activities. We encourage you to coordinate with fellow family members or friends on a chosen hotel, VRBO, AirBnB, or even just the area (e.g. all agree to stay in Morro Bay). Please note that we will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue from Downtown Cayucos, so we recommend staying in Cayucos for easy access!
