Morro Bay

Morro Bay

Morro Bay, CA

On your way to Morro Bay, you can’t miss Morro Rock, one of the most iconic landmarks in the area. While wandering around the bay, chances are good you’ll encounter otters swimming and lounging in the bay. Hit the dockside to find the Embarcadero filled with unique shops, art galleries, family-friendly activities and delicious seafood restaurants! You can also get out on the water with excursions like whale-watching tours, sunset dinner cruises, fishing charters, kayaking, sailing, kite-flying, biking, stand-up paddleboarding and world-class surfing. While in college, Devin and Laura spent time visiting Morro Bay, and loved kayaking, eating seafood, and walking around the Embarcadero.

On Thursday nights, San Luis Obispo offers one of the best Farmers Markets in their downtown! Other activities in San Luis Obispo include hiking, visiting California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo (this is where Devin and Laura went to college, and met!), and visiting wineries and breweries. San Luis Obispo is truly one of the happiest places on earth, and holds so many special memories for both Devin and Laura. We hope you spend some time in San Luis Obispo and get to know the area. Devin and Laura will be heading out to the Farmers Market on the Thursday night before the wedding if you'd like to join!
