The Bristol Hotel

We love the Bristol Hotel (dog friendly!) which is the "fancier" hotel in downtown Steamboat, but is very quirky. They have delicious scones and coffee every morning. Rates are between $239/night and $269/night. If we could stay in one place every time we come to Steamboat, it would be the Bristol.

Right across the street from the reception! Don't sweat the ... unfortunate ... reviews. They are under new management, and you might notice the more recent reviews are ... much better! We checked out some of the rooms, and they are super cute and look great. Rates vary between $174/night and $189/night.

The Nordic Lodge

We stayed here on our most recent trip, and it has some very nice rooms. Some of the second floor rooms will have a great view of the mountains, and it is also literally across the street from the reception.
