Getting to Camp

Camp Mataponi was founded in 1910 as a traditional girl’s overnight camp. Learn more: https://campmataponi.com

Flight

Portland International Jetport

The Portland, Maine airport is a 45-minute drive from Camp Mataponi. Guests looking to spend time in Portland can easily do so, as the airport is just 2-miles west of downtown Portland. Make sure you're flying into Portland, ME (PWM) and not Portland, OR (PDX).

Flight

Boston Logan International Airport

Logan Airport is 2 hours and 20 minutes south of Camp Mataponi. Busses and Trains run regularly between Boston and Portland. A third option to look into is Manchester-Boston Regional airport, located in New Hampshire. This airport is a similar distance to camp, around a 2 hour and 15 minute drive.

Rental Car

Getting to Camp Once in Maine

If you are flying to Portland there are few options to consider to get to camp: - Rental Car - booking a car from the Portland airport could be the most affordable option if booked in advance (plenty of parking available at camp to leave your car). - Carpool - be in touch! A lot of people will be driving to the wedding so we'd love to help coordinate rides in friend and family vehicles if we can. - Rideshare App - Getting an Uber or Lyft from Portland to camp is a possibility, but please note that it will be tough to get back to Portland as the Uber/Lyft options from Naples are not as available. We highly recommend looking into this ahead of time if your plan is to use a ride share app and reserve a ride in advance for the return trip.
