What does garden party formal mean?

Answer

The wedding will be held outside at a vineyard! So wear something you’d wear to a winery, light colored suits, sport coats, flowey floral skirts, and comfortable shoes. I recommend wedges if choosing to wear heels, as you will be walking/standing in grass some of the time. Dinner and dancing will be inside a barn but the ceremony and cocktail hour is outside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are a guest, please plan to arrive at Over the Vines between 4pm and 4:15pm. The open bar and string quartet starts at 4pm! Seating at 4:20 and the ceremony will start at 4:30. If you are a flower girl or grandparent, please arrive around 3pm.

What’s for dinner?

Answer

State Street Brats, a Madison game day staple, is catering our wedding. They will have a burger and brat bar. But don’t worry! There will be vegan burgers and gluten free buns available. Please text Izzy at (608) 422-9105 if you have other dietary restrictions.

If I didn’t rsvp, can I still come?

Answer

The venue only puts out exactly the amount of seats we reserve and pay for. Our final numbers deadline is August 20th. If you would like to attend, but missed the July 25th deadline, please text Izzy at (608) 422-9105 before August 20th so we can make sure you have a seat. We hope you are able to make it!
