It’s finally happening!

As true millennials do - we met online on a site called Tinder. For those that don't know, Tinder is a dating app where users swipe left or right on pictures of potential suitors. Swipe left and the suitor is gone forever! If you want the chance to chat with a person, you swipe right . If both users swipe right - you get a match and can begin to chat. We matched! On our first date we met at the campus coffee shop and later, Joe showed off his piano skills. I was completely smitten...but Joe ended the date with a handshake so I was sure it was over before it started. But here we are five years later GETTING MARRIED!!! And we hope you can be there with us!

January of 2019 we moved from sunny Virginia to Madison Wisconsin, just in time for the polar vortex! We love Madison so much, we bought a house there in 2020. Can't wait to give you all the grand tour!

The stresses of 2020 called for a serious vacation. Izzy planned a relaxing getaway to a secluded cabin on the Mississippi River. What Izzy didn't know, was that Joe was planning on proposing that very weekend! On Saturday, November 28th, Joe suggested a hike nearby our cabin. The hike in question was pretty steep and Izzy didn't think she would make it to the top. After some convincing we made it up and Joe popped the question!

As soon as we got engaged we were anxious to get married (and start growing our family). But due to COVID we've decided the safest option for everyone would be to wait until enough time has passed for everyone to safely travel and party like it's 2019 ;)
