Take a stroll through Congress Park in downtown Saratoga, the site of our engagement! Kayla’s favorite spots are the fountains and Alex’s is the duck pond.
One of Kayla & Alex’s favorite breakfast spots in Saratoga. Cozy, casual atmosphere with homestyle comfort food. Kayla recommends the breakfast bowl and Alex loves the blueberry muffin, grilled. Their homemade jams are a must-try. Country Corner Cafe will be busy most mornings and does not accept reservations, but typically does not have a long wait time.
By far the best bagels in the Capital Region (in our opinion)! Stop by to grab a bagel and a coffee. Kayla’s go-to order is an egg & cheese on a cheddar jalepeño bagel, and Alex’s the same on an everything bagel. This location is quite busy most days, especially on weekend mornings, but the line moves quick.
Saratoga Spa State Park is a gorgeous park with lots to do. Explore the trails and picnic areas, hang out by the reflecting pool, or try the mineral springs! We love renting bikes and riding around the paved trails on a nice day. Check out the farmers market on Sundays, 8am-3pm.
Hands down our favorite restaurant in Saratoga for casual dining. Nine miles east uses farm fresh ingredients to make the most amazing entrees and pizza. Kayla’s favorite is the piri piri mushrooms, and Alex’s is the lemon rosemary chicken. We both LOVE the hot honey pizza.
Bibulous offers great cocktails and delicious desserts in a cozy and swanky atmosphere. This bar is new to Saratoga and has quickly become a favorite of ours, and was where we met our friends for a casual engagement celebration after Alex proposed.
