FAQs

If you think of any other questions that are not listed below, please reach out to McKenna or Jace for further information.
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than July 22nd, this will allow us enough time to finalize the headcount with our vendors. Thank you!

Question

What should I wear for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal garden party attire. Think long sundresses, formal dresses, suits, button-ups and slacks, etc. Colors are highly recommended. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! Depending on the weather, the ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be indoors.

Question

How is the weather this time of year?

Answer

It will be hot during the day but the evening should be a perfect temperature. We will provide paper parasails, hand-held fans, and water at the ceremony. The reception will be air-conditioned.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly request that our celebration remain intimate. As much as we'd love to include everyone's special someone, our venue is cozy--so our guest list is reserved for those listed on the invitation. Please refer to the RSVP page for more information. Thank you for celebrating our day with us, it would not be the same without you!

Question

Will there be food and drink?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be provided via caterer. Water, soft drinks, canned cocktails, beer, and wine are available at a hosted bar. Hard liquor will not be available for purchase. Pregame at your own risk and please drink responsibly!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

It is not prohibited, although, we would prefer to keep phones tucked away so you and other guests can enjoy this special moment with us. There will be professional photographers to capture every detail, and we will be sure to share these memories with you once received. Your presence means the most to us!

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

The address is 3575 Wills Rd, Emmett ID 83617. Once plugged in to Google Maps, we recommend staying on ID-16 until you are in Emmett. Avoid the route that will make you turn left onto "Old Freeze Out Rd" or "South Slope Rd". This will take you on a very curvy route. Although there are some great views, it is not an ideal route (especially if you are prone to carsickness). Continue on ID-16 for ~9 miles which will take you on a much simpler route.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a decent sized parking lot for those who wish to drive themselves and/or carpool. We will also provide a shuttle service for those who wish to indulge in beverages and need a ride. More information is located on the travel page!

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

We will provide a shuttle to the venue and back after the reception is over. More information is located on the travel page!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Ideally 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts. Ceremony will begin at 4 pm. Arriving around 3:30 pm will allow you time to familiarize yourself with the venue and ensure you can snag a parking spot and a seat.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are very few options to stay in Emmett. We recommend staying in a hotel or Airbnb/Vrbo in Meridian, Garden City, Star, or Eagle. Please look at the travel page for more details.
