On a Sunday in April 2023, Jace found himself back in Billings visiting family after moving to Boise just a few months prior. Although the two had met previously years ago, followed each other on social media, and had countless mutual friends--a "match" on a dating app was enough to give Jace the courage he needed. After confessing his years-long crush and being vetted by her friends: texts turned to calls, calls turned to endless FaceTimes, and the two met in person a month later. It was an instant connection that neither could put into words. All they knew was that it felt so right, so real. McKenna had the pleasure of meeting his family the following day in Lewistown, MT and they became an official couple that weekend. They were nearly inseparable if it hadn't been for the distance between them. After a grueling (but amazing) five months of flying back and forth to visit one another, Jace took a one-way ticket to Billings. That weekend, the two packed up McKenna's life in a U-Haul and made the long drive to Boise to start their life together. The rest is history.
