Sister of the Bride. While Meghan has 3 sisters and loves each of them, Heather and Meghan have always been close and they aren't just sisters, they are best friends. Meghan stayed with Heather after she graduated college, meeting many of Heather's friends and helping her drive home. Meghan lived on her futon in Rochester, NY for a summer in college, has spent many holidays with her and many adventures. They've been each others shoulders to cry on and their champions. Mostly, Heather just brings out Meghan's silly/funny/facetious side! Heather lives in Rochester, NY
Stephen Duffett
Best Man
Brother of the Groom. Stephen is the smarter and better looking of the two of us, and most likely a better guitar player, though he got a few years head start on me. He is a great husband to Meghan and father to his boys Michael and Nathan, and is always willing to be pestered by medical questions. He’s just an all around great guy. Pictured - Stephen and I on a family vacation in Ontario in 2011. It was the first time our family ever had professional photos taken together! Meghan’s sister, Heather, was the photographer!
Jennifer Taylor
Bridesmaid
Jen and Meghan were in the same small class during their Athletic Training education at Central Michigan University. Jen is a founding member of HATs (our little inside group/joke) and has supported Meghan all the way. The HATs were the first to hear about meeting a new guy at an oil party... which quickly became referred to among the group as "Hot Canadian". Jen has shown Meghan how to become a "mom" without losing her independence and sense of self or ambition. Meghan is forever grateful of her friendship. Jen lives in a suburb of Detroit, MI with her husband Todd and their two kids Hayden and Maddex.
Stephen Hawco
Groomsman
Hawco and I met first in high school, then became close friends during our time at Memorial University. We have been on a lot of trips and adventures together, from seeing concerts in LA, travelling around the Maritimes during our work term placements to even running the Houston marathon last year after he caught the running bug out of nowhere recently. Hawco and his family (wife Julie and daughters June and Lucy) live in Calgary, Alberta.
Kristin Nash
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Meghan met through our group of friends in Houston. As one of the few non-Canadian minorities, they quickly hit it off. Kristin has often been an ally to Meghan even though she is Nash's wife and Colin and Nash are super close. Kristin and Meghan share a love of concerts, sporting events, book club, food, friendship, and being sarcastic. She has a heart of gold and is also funny! Kristin and Meghan can certainly have a time at any gathering and unfortunately have the photos to match! This was the only "normal" photo we could find together. Kristin and Nash live just a few miles from us!
Stephen Nash

Nash and I met at Memorial University, and while we hung with different circles during our time there, we really became close friends once we both moved to Houston in 2006. His wife Kristin is one of the Bridesmaids and this shows how close we all are on a daily basis! Pictured - Nash and I at the beautiful Gorge amphitheater to see the Dave Matthews Band in 2007.
Mollie Coe

Mollie was in a class below Meghan at Central Michigan in the Athletic Training program. They shared a friendship but didn't really hang out during that time. They became exceptionally close post-college as founding members of the HATs (it's an inside thing) spending every summer reuniting at annual conferences. Since that time, Mollie has been an amazing friend for Meghan. She is always there when needed and never judges. She is an amazing person and always wants to have a good time! Mollie lives “up north” of the lower peninsula of Michigan with her fiancé Noah.
Justin Adams
Groomsman
Justin is Colin's oldest friend, they met each other in elementary school and have been the best of friends since. They enjoyed playing "soccer-baseball" (i.e. kickball) in the fields behind Morris Academy, and were teammates playing hockey together since atom league all the way through high school. Colin was also the Best Man in Justin's wedding. Justin lives in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland with his wife April and kids Rachel and Blake.
Karoline Walker

Karoline (KK as Meghan calls her) is one of Meghan's newest friends. They met at work at Baylor and were quickly butting heads! They both have great work ethic and want to see the best in people so they got to the bottom of the miscommunication. Since then they have been very loyal friends. KK is one of the most thoughtful and giving people Meghan has ever met both with her time, friendship, and otherwise. Also just makes Meghan laugh a lot! Karoline lives about 10min away with her husband Chuck and their new baby boy lovingly nicknamed “Cinco” as he is Charles Walker V!
Herb Stead

Herb and I met a few years after I moved to Houston and quickly became the best of friends. They have spent many Friday, Saturday and "Sun-daytona" days together amongst the bars near where they lived. A little know fact is that Herb was the inventor/originator of the "Washington Wave" rideshare bus in Houston. Herb and Colin were the OG's for their annual group ski trips to Colorado and also love to travel for fishing trips and hockey games. Herb currently spends his time between St. John's Newfoundland and Houston, Texas. Pictured - Herb and I at a Dallas Stars / Toronto Maple Leafs game in Dallas. He bought his North Stars jersey at the stadium 30 minutes before puck drop - just to spite all the Leafs fans who were with us!
