We understand the COVID-19 pandemic is challenging. We recommend all guests review their accommodation and travel cancellation policies prior to booking. We also recommend considering travel insurance. Please check frequently what the local restrictions are for Canada, Province of Quebec and Quebec City. For now, we are optimistic that we will be able to include all invited guests and not restrict our plans. We will notify guests if things change. We will follow any and all local COVID-19 guidelines if required.
We would love for you to be able to make this a family trip. However, we are restricting children to the ceremony and casual events surrounding the wedding day only. On-site babysitters will be provided for kids at the Morrin Centre for the reception as we will need one for Carolyn anyways (she’s not even invited to the reception!). We kindly ask that you not allow them into the reception. We plan to have movies, games, pizza and popcorn provided for the kids in the Morrin Centre during the reception. Our hope is to have all of the parents and grandparents attending be able to detach from the kids and focus on enjoying a night of stress-free and relaxed celebration.
Yes! We will be having a welcome reception at a local restaurant/bar. This is casual and no formal room is booked. We will also be hosting a very casual post-wedding brunch at one of our AirBnBs. Please check the Events page for details on these events!
Your presence is present enough! We understand the financial burden of guests for a destination wedding. If you feel compelled to provide a gift, please message us privately for suggestions.
