This park has two great hiking trails up Mt. Kearsarge. One trail is a 1 mile steep and rocky climb. The other is a more winding 1.8 miles. Both will bring you to beautiful views of the New London/Sunapee area. This is also where Julia and Alex got engaged!
If you want a less strenuous hike, but the same views, Rollin’s State Park is perfect! Be prepared for a winding drive up most of the mountain, but the 0.5 mile hike is an easy trek to the same gorgeous views as Winslow State Park.
This is our wedding venue! Guests can roam the gardens, trails, and grounds for free throughout the weekend of the wedding. Feel free to take a tour of the main house to learn some history or just explore the beautiful grounds and gardens!
The New London Barn Playhouse is one of the oldest theaters in the country. Plus, it’s uniquely performed in a converted historic barn! The Playhouse features musical performances performed by both Broadway actors and local up and coming artists. Check out the Playhouse schedule while you’re in town!
For all their travels, Julia and Alex still think the White Mountains are one of the prettiest places on Earth. There’s plenty of hiking options for some incredible views that make you feel on top of the world. Drive along the Kancamagus Highway or through the Franconia Notch for some sight seeing. Check out the quaint town of Conway, NH (and stop by Autumn Nomad in nearby Jackson, NH to see the bake shop of our caterer!) Finally, stop to eat at One Love Brewery or the Gypsy Cafe for a delicious meal in Lincoln, NH.
