The Nonantum Resort

The Nonantum Resort is where our welcome party, cocktail hour and reception, and Sunday breakfast will be held and is the ideal location to stay for the weekend! Transportation will be provided from The Nonantum Resort to our ceremony location and back for the reception. Our "Morning After Brunch" is also complimentary for guests staying at The Nonantum. To book, please call and reference "McGowan/Fuller Wedding." Our room block will be available until 5/18/2025. Rates are expected to increase due to demand, so they recommend booking as soon as possible. *Two-night minimum. --------- We understand that the Nonantum will not be able to accommodate everyones travel preferences, but we would love to have as many of you as possible join us here for the wedding weekend! The following hotel options are within walking or driving distance to the Nonantum Resort, as indicated. There is no room block, but these options do not require a 2 night minimum stay. There are also many AirBnB and VRBO options listed in and around Kennebunkport. 5-10 minute walk: Kennebunkport Inn, The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel, and The Colony Hotel 10-20 minute walk: The Grand Hotel, Cape Arundel Inn & Resort, and White Barn Inn 15-20 minute drive: Hampton Inn Kennebunk and Holiday Inn Express Wells-Ogunquit-Kennebunk

Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle

July 19, 2025 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

There will be two shuttles heading to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony and back to The Nonantum Resort for the cocktail hour and reception. Wedding guests who are not staying the night at The Nonantum are welcome to park their car free of charge to take the shuttle to and from the ceremony. For those who would like to keep the party going can join us downtown which is within walking distance of The Nonantum.

Kennebunkport is located about 90 minutes north of Boston Logan International Airport and about 30 minutes south of Portland International Jetport. July is a very busy time in New England. Make sure to book early!

Train

Train Routes

Amtrak is a great option for those who are looking to travel from Boston without a car. When traveling into Boston, Amtrak will bring you to Boston South Station with continuing service on Amtrak Downeaster to Wells, Maine. Kennebunkport is about 20 minutes from the Wells Amtrak Station.

Travel Note

Getting around Kennebunkport

The best way to get around Kennebunkport is by foot! Here are some other options: The Shoreline Trolley (www.shorelineexplorer.com) offers seasonal trolley rides around the Kennebunk Lower Village to Wells/Ogunquit town line. RideMaine (www.ridemekpt.com) offers golf cart rides around Kennebunkport. Basic rides in the port range from $10-$20 depending on distance and number of passengers. Reservations are required and rides are cash or venmo only. Coastal Maine Kayak and Bike (www.coastalmainekayak.com) offers bike and e-bike rentals for half, full, and multi-day rentals. This is a great option to explore the town at your own pace and not worry about parking your car. They also offer bike tours through town and kayak tours down the Kennebunk River.
