We will take photos on the lawn by the water and then ride together to the church for a ceremony rehearsal with dinner and drinks to follow at The Elective - 50 Local. Parking at The Nonantum Resort is free of charge.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony of the Greek Orthodox Church is an ancient and evocative service by which two people are united together "In Faith, and in Oneness of Mind, in Truth, and in Love", acknowledging that their love is rooted in God, who is Love itself. The marriage ceremony is abundant with symbols that reflect the important elements of marriage: Love, Mutual respect, Equality and Sacrifice.
Transportation will be provided to pick up guests from The Nonantum Resort at 2:15pm for the ceremony and will bring guests back to The Nonantum Resort for cocktail hour and the reception.
Cocktail Hour + Wedding Reception
5:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Attire: Formal
There will be 60 minutes in between the end of the Ceremony and the start of Cocktail Hour to provide enough time for traveling between the St. Demetrios and The Nonantum. We plan to share our personal vows with one another in an intimate setting and take photos with our families during this time. Those traveling on the trolley will be dropped back off at The Nonantum Resort. Guests may get the party started with a pre-cocktail hour drink or just hang out at the resort! There will be plenty of food... so come with an appetite!

Drop in for an in-formal brunch in the Carriage House at The Nonantum Resort between 8am and 10am to say goodbye before we embark on our dream honeymoon! No pressure, but we would love to thank you personally for spending the weekend with us. We will also sing a special "Happy Birthday" to Chris's mom! Breakfast is complimentary for guests staying at The Nonantum Resort.
