Things To Do

If you're looking for something fun to do on your way out of town on Sunday, don't miss these unique STL experiences!
Missouri Botanical Garden

Missouri Botanical Garden

4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63110

Missouri's Botanical Garden is a national historic landmark with nearly 80 acres of stunning horticultural display, and happens to be where James proposed!

Laumeier Sculpture Park

Laumeier Sculpture Park

12580 Rott Road, Sappington, MO 63127

"Where art meets nature," this park is an STL favorite of ours to explore with the dogs that spans over 100 acres and features large-scale sculptures, scenic walking trails and open green spaces.

Kirkwood Farmers Market

Kirkwood Farmers Market

150 East Argonne Drive, Kirkwood, MO 63122

The Kirkwood farmers' market is one of our absolute favorite places to spend time and money. This charming all-seasons market offers tons of fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, specialty foods from local vendors, home & kitchen decor, plants, and so much more. Beyond the market, Kirkwood is a highly walkable neighborhood featuring tons of restaurants, boutiques and gift shops.

Forest Park

Forest Park

5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63112

This park spans 1,326 acres and features a free zoo, free art museum, over 30 miles of walking and biking trails and many other cool sights! Also the location of our engagement photos ;)

City Museum

City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

The City Museum is one of STL's most unique and unforgettable attractions, a one-of-a-kind, all-ages playground. Housed in an old shoe factory & warehouse, it's filled with creatively repurposed architectural pieces, tunnels, slides, climbing structures and hidden passages that make it feel like an interactive work of art and is sure to tire out the kids.

Gateway Arch National Park

Gateway Arch National Park

11 North 4th Street, St. Louis, MO 63102

The iconic Gateway Arch is the tallest monument in the U.S. and one of STL's most recognizable landmarks. Guests can ride to the top for panoramic views of downtown and the riverfront, but we don't recommend it if you're claustrophobic or afraid of heights ;) There's also a museum built into the underground visitor center!

El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

2408 Taylor Road, Wildwood, MO 63040
, 636-273-6212

A five minute walk from the Wildwood Hotel, this neighborhood staple is where Julia worked her first job as a hostess, and it remains a timeless family favorite for delicious Mexican food and margs - we recommend the handmade topshelf with a tajin rim!
