James and Julia met at a St. Patrick's Day party on March 11th, 2023. Their close mutual friend Holly Bennett was the mastermind matchmaker. Holly told Julia all about James so she knew just what to expect - James, on the other hand, was given no information. He woke up that day without the slightest inkling that he was about to meet his soulmate. The two hit it off right away, discovering their shared love of dogs, music, nature, and their families. After spending the following weekend together discussing life goals, dreams and plans for the future, they knew they were meant to be. It wasn't long before families were introduced and the couple experienced some of their favorite firsts together - first Thanksgiving, first ski trip, and their first house! The day after Christmas 2024, James proposed at the Missouri Botanical Garden surrounded by beautiful Christmas light displays and Julia's ecstatic family. They can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you this coming August!
