CJ and Elisabeth met in 2014 at Hawaii Pacific University. CJ was going for his bachelor degree and Elisabeth had enrolled for a semester . CJ volunteered as an orientation guide for incoming students at HPU. Although that year, even though he didn't have Elisabeth in his group, a friend of hers was. As the story goes, they met through her friend. But in truth, they met through the dating app, Tinder. They exchanged phone numbers and began getting to know one another. Elisabeth was attracted by CJ's dark bronze color and knew she had found the one. When Elisabeth completed her semester at HPU , she returned to Copenhagen and their relationship continued. After graduating in 2015, CJ visited Denmark and decided that's where he wanted to be. With the help and and support from Elisabeth's family, CJ secured a job along with Danish residency and never looked back. They are now settled into an amazing home with their beautiful daughter Ava and their dog Chewie!
