Best Man
DJ met Ace in college and, despite being very different people, they quickly formed a unique bromance. They later shared an apartment together in Manhattan. Ace’s laugh is even more contagious than DJ’s brother’s laugh.
Maid of Honor
Sarah is one of Katie’s older sisters, closest in age. Despite years of bickering and annoying each other, Katie now considers Sarah her closet friend. She is an incredible example of a perseverant, goal-oriented woman.
Groomsman
As kids, DJ almost ripped Cooper’s ear off with a golf club. Thankfully, into adulthood, they moved past their differences. Now these two brothers share a strong relationship; DJ admires Cooper’s devotion to his family.
Maid of Honor
Rachael is Katie’s oldest sister. In every childhood home, these two shared a bathroom and—usually—a bedroom wall. While Katie never kept anything clean growing up which greatly annoyed her oldest sister, Rachael’s maturity and responsibility helped shape Katie the same way. Rachael is an incredible role model to her youngest sister.
Groomsman
Blake and DJ go way back. During little league ballgames, DJ was Blake’s catcher—walking to the pitchers mound game after game. Following college, DJ walked in Blake & McKenna’s wedding. Now he feels honored to have Blake do the same for him.
Bridesmaid
Before they were sorority sisters, Shelby and Katie were coworkers at a Wichita tanning salon. Both hated it. Both drove 2002 Honda Civics with a cheer bow in the rear-view. As fate would have it, both pledged Tri-Delta at Kansas State University and have been friends ever since.
Groomsman
One of DJ’s cohort buddies while training for the job at Lockheed Martin, these two were quick friends. They spend their free Saturdays bogeying the back 9.
Bridesmaid
Katie first met Piper when she came up to Manhattan to celebrate Shelby’s 21st birthday. The two quickly bonded through shared experiences and their love for Piano Bar Wednesdays. RIP to Piano Bar.
Groomsman
John, Jared, and DJ all hung out during high school. The trio bonded while mudding in their trucks. Fun fact: John’s mom is actually the reason Katie and DJ met.
Bridesmaid
A soccer star through high school and college, Katie had the privilege of watching DJ’s youngest sister, Katie McClure, develop into an incredible athlete and even better person.
Groomsman
“John and Jared’s bios are literally the same.” — DJ McClure
Bridesmaid
Nestled into the last room on the highest floor of Kenny Ford Hall, Katie and Samantha shared freshman year together at Kansas State. While Katie brought her friend from high school, Samantha opted to have random roommates. The rest is fate. The two later shared a house together junior year of college and—despite living in different states—remain best friends today.
Groomsman
This guy will be the life of the party. You might find him smooching with the officiant. 10/10 recommend inviting him to your wedding.
Bridesmaid
One of her oldest friends, Kaitlyn and Katie played volleyball together for years and remained friends through and following college. Simply put, neither can ever remember arguing or bickering with each other in the more-than-a-decade they've known one another.
Father of the Bride
Despite his inability to win a game of Mario Kart, Ray is still a pretty cool dad. Competitive her whole life, Katie attributes many of her personality traits to her dad.
Father of the Groom
"Wow, DJ and his dad are like the same person," said anyone who has met both DJ and his dad.
Mother of the Groom
Kris spent years spent on the road, at the baseball field, soccer field, and countless other events for her kids--shaping them into the selfless, caring, and hard-working people they are today. DJ acquired many of those personality traits and so much more from his mom; he also acquired her distaste for banana and banana-flavored foods.
Officiant
The bride and groom are honored to welcome Sister Copper as their wedding officiant. One of Katie's first and best friends in Delta Delta Delta at Kansas State University, Millie went on to become sorority chapter president their junior year. The couple figured, if she can keep more than 100 college women in line every Wednesday, she can certainly host a wedding.
Flower Girl
This pretty girl is Katie’s first niece. Her parents are James and Sarah Mureithi. At the date of the wedding, she will be a little more than 2-years-old.
Ring Bearer
This handsome little man is Tucker McClure. He is DJ’s youngest nephew. His parents are Cooper McClure and Taylor Ferris. At the time of the wedding, he will be 4-years-old.
Best Dog
If she were ever in a dog show, this mut wouldn't be allowed to win top dog; however, Rogue (or Roguers, Rogue-uh-roo, Rogue-ees) would definitely win over the hearts of everyone there.
