Our first trip together was to Quadra Island, BC via Seaplane in early August 2024. We knew we were a logistical match made in heaven at this point.

August '24 we were on our way to a 5 day float trip down the Snake River. There's lots of "relationship mileage" gained on river trips -- but it was all smooth sailing.

We knew we were ready for A LOT more mileage after this trip. This photo was taken just a few moments after we really knew we were heading towards a wedding. (Though we thought maybe 2026?)

Sean met the Ruedigs for the first time in September 2024 at a Michigan Football game. He fit right in.

We moved in together in September '24 in West Seattle -- come visit us!

We went to Mexico in December 2024 to celebrate Julia's birthday and ring in the New Year.

On a lazy beach day in San Pancho, Mexico, we decided that we didn't want to wait until 2026 to get married.. and that we wanted to get married in 2025.

We rang in the new year by calling venues in NH to make sure it was even possible to get married in 2025 and lucky us, it was. There was just one more thing to do before it was official...

When Sean was 15 he threw three coins into the Trevi Fountain, which according to legend meant he was to meet his wife in Rome. So as not to displease the gods, we had to meet in Rome to get engaged.

Julia was in London for work and Sean flew out to Rome to meet Julia. Julia arrived on a Friday night and he met her in front of the Pantheon (their favorite place) and wasted no time to propose.

A few days later in London Julia proposed to Sean and we have been *even more* over the moon since. We can't wait to celebrate with you all.
