Mother of the Bride
Dis my momma! What I love most about Mom: She. Knows. EVERYTHING! Any question I had growing up (or continue to have), she has a pretty good answer. She is the hardest worker I've ever met; she learned to cut her own hair and sew her own clothes when she was in her 20s, received her B.A. from McDaniel College while raising Devon and me, and always has a pitch-in mentality.
Mother of the Groom
Father of the Bride
What I love most about Dad: Dad is such a role model for me because of the way he treats people kindly. No matter who you are, he tries to relate to you and make you feel heard or important. He's got the best sense of humor and I'm lucky he passed that down to me! Whatever you do at the wedding, we kindly request that you do not pull his finger if he asks...

Officiant
Meghan. Is. AMAZING!!! Introduced to us through Grace and Josh, we often see Meghan at our weekly Survivor watch nights in Baltimore where we watch Survivor like it's our favorite local football team (we do a draft and everything!). Seriously, ask Meghan any Survivor trivia question and she will answer it correctly. A few days after Ryan and I got engaged, we had our weekly Survivor party where we went to Meghan's house for dinner before watching the episode. Not only did she cook the group a wonderful dinner, but she also bought champagne for a toast, wrote us a card, and made celebratory brownies to enjoy. When thinking of who we'd want to officiate our wedding, we immediately thought of Meghan. We can't wait for you to meet her!! What we love most about Meghan: If you think of your top 10 favorite people and name your favorite quality about them, Meghan has ALL of them. Kind, genius, hilarious, amazing storyteller, gregarious, infectious laugh...we could go on. She has the most interesting life stories, so please ask her about being stranded in the desert!
Flower Girl
Meet our niece and flower girl, Bailey! Bailey is Devon and Brooks’s daughter, and she is so excited to be part of the wedding! What we love most about Bailey: She is always cracking jokes and loves to be the center of every conversation. She has the biggest heart and has always been the best sharer (especially now with her baby brother, Huxley!). She brightens anyone’s day!
Maid of Honor
Devon has been the best big sister and has always kept our bond strong through our many obscure movie quotes, Jeep rides, and shared need for sound effects and talking in accents. Although she is two and a half years older, we call each other twins (Ask Nancy about that one, too!), and feel at times we can read each other's minds or know what the other one needs. Growing up, I'd do anything Devon told me to do, and I've never stopped looking up to her. When we'd get into fights growing up, Dad would say "You're the only two sisters you'll ever have." We both know that no matter what, we have each other's backs. She's the best mom to my niece and nephew and truly my other half when we help in the Swine Committee at the Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair. I feel pretty lucky to go through life with someone so different yet so similar to me and my experiences. What I love most about Devon: She has worked so hard in her life and career, and I admire the way her presence demands attention in any room, yet she always builds genuine connections to anyone she meets. Gosh, I could go on and on, but I'm just the luckiest sister with the best role model.
Best Man
Maid of Honor
Amanda and I met at FSK Jr. Eagles soccer tryouts in the 7th grade when she told me her toenail was about to fall off (Don't worry, guys, we both made the team). It's been smooth sailings ever since, quite literally when our parents took us on a trip to sail around the British Virgin Islands on a catamaran together after graduating high school. Since middle school, our respective houses became each other's second homes. Amanda was the automatic friend when my parents said I could bring a friend on vacation. Devon got just as annoyed with Amanda as she was with me. We made stupid, silly YouTube videos together. Although she now lives with her husband, Paul, and little girl, Claire, in Hershey and it's sometimes hard to get together, there's never any guilt or resentment with unanswered texts. We just keep making new memories, and I'm eternally grateful to have such a great friend who turned into a sister. What I love most about Amanda: She has taught me the importance of laughing at yourself and to not take things so seriously. She has the most infectious, squeaky belly-laugh that is my favorite sound in the world and honestly makes me feel like I'm the funniest person alive.

Grace and I became friends during my first year teaching at Century High School. We had planning together all year and had a lot in common. One weekend in the spring, I planned a girls' weekend at my family's cabin (my family has since sold it, don't get me started). Everyone bailed but Grace, so the two of us spent the weekend watching Erin Brockovich, driving around the mountain, and realizing our parents went to North Carroll High School together. A few months after she and her fiancé (now husband), Josh, bought a rowhome in Baltimore City, I asked if I could move into their spare room for a couple of months until I found my own apartment in the city. They agreed, and Grace and I both knew this arrangement would either go REALLY badly or REALLY well. Guess which one it was? Our wine and movie nights, stoop sittin', impromptu book clubs, walks around the city, and trips to The Book Escape are my favorite memories. She's everyone's best friend, and I wouldn't be surprised if after the wedding you offer her an invite to one of your upcoming events! What I love most about Grace: She is truly one of my favorite humans on the planet and is the most go-with-the-flow person I've ever met. She and I have the exact same humor, and she makes me feel confident in who I am.
Groomswoman
Bridesmaid
Madison and I met when we both studied abroad in Budapest, Hungary at McDaniel during the 2014 fall semester. While we had many mutual friends, I am still SHOCKED we didn't become friends until Budapest. Almost instantaneously, we became attached at the hip while abroad. After college, Madi came to live at my parents' house with me as I finished up student teaching so she could have a shorter commute to Johns Hopkins (because she's brilliant). Since then, we call her "the third McAndrew sister" because our families just blended so well together. What I love most about Madi: Madi is the truest definition of a friend and is one of those people who never thinks twice about giving more than she takes. While life can get busy, we always pick up right where we left off. AND her family might be crazier than mine...which explains everything.
Bridesmaid
I met Nancy (left in photo) while student teaching at MVHS and we're still co-workers. Nancy and I had so much in common as our conversations evolved: grew up in Carroll County with a tight-knit family, over-emotional at times, animal lovers, the daughters of dads that embarrass us with their humor, and a love of true crime podcasts. Nancy rescued a senior German Shepherd named Kato, and after Ryan and I rescued Butter, we constantly exchange pictures of our ol' boys. She just bought a farm in Carroll County with her boyfriend, Edward, and is loving the farm life. You may, of course, now call her Farmer Nan. She has become one of my closest friends, and I'm so thankful our paths became entwined! What I love most about Nancy: Nancy is a wordsmith in every sense. Her grandmother taught her calligraphy, so even her handwriting is beautiful. She can describe anything in the most poised and eloquent way, but don't get it twisted...Nancy is a Giph guru on the keyboard and is the funniest storyteller, getting you to belly-laugh with one eye-squint.
