FAQs

Read important information about our event below!
Question

But you're already married, why you having a wedding?

Answer

While we decided to get married sooner due to Covid, our hope was to have a full wedding to celebrate with family and friends like we had hoped to do originally. We want to have a party to enjoy each others company, have good food and dancing of course!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Semi-Formal, no jeans please!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All plus ones will be indicated on your wedding invitation!

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We are monitoring the situation monthly and will know as it gets closer should we need to make modifications to our wedding. If you are uncomfortable about attending please inform the bride, as each family needs to do what is best for them. We will continue to monitor the CDC recommendations and local laws to keep in mind the safety of guests.

Question

How do I RSVP and by when?

Answer

All RSVPs are made online. Click on the RSVP menu item at the top of our wedding page. Please use the name exactly as it was spelled on your invitations. Please reach out to the bride if you have an issue. Please RSVP by August 30th, 2021.

Question

Why are you registered at so many places? Should I purchase gifts through Zola?

Answer

The beauty of using Zola is you can purchase some gifts through their website instead of through the registry store site. It is generally easier to use this option. There are some items from other registries you may purchase through those websites.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Target, West Elm, William Sonoma, and Amazon. By clicking Registry above you can see the items from all our registries to see what is available!

Question

What if I can’t make it to Georgia for the wedding?

Answer

Due to travel, we know all California guests will not be able to attend our wedding in Georgia. But we want to celebrate with everyone! We will be having a smaller, less formal celebration in California on Nov 2021 for extended family and those unable to attend the wedding. Details to be determined!

Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

It is encouraged that kids do not attend the wedding as it will be geared towards adults. However, should that become an obstacle for you to attend, especially those who are traveling far distances, please reach out to the bride.

Question

I am traveling, what important information do I need to know?

Answer

We recommend booking your hotel and flight about 50 days out from the wedding. 50 days out is usually when fights are the best price and gives time to monitor the situation with COVID. For hotels, click the above Hotels menu to see options on where to book. The Atlanta area does have Uber, Lyft and public transportation but it will be more realistic for guests to rent cars as most of the city is geared towards driving. Consider going in with other guests for a car if that is a concern!
