Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats
There are several Thai places in downtown Bend, but this is the one we recommend. (A lot of people think you should go to Noi, but we think it's as good.)
Old Mill District
Our office at Red Cross where we met is located at the Old Mill District, and we frequented many a shop and restaurant here. In fact, our first unofficial date together was here at Greg's Grill!
Bend Ale Trail
Our favorites are Deschutes Brewing, 10 Barrel, Sunriver Brewing and Cascade Lakes
Hiking Trails
There are numerous trails in/around the Bend area. We recommend Pilot Butte, the Deschutes River, or Shevlin Park for a short, easy hike (though Pilot Butte is quite uphill). For the more adventurous hiker there are several lava tubes to explore such as the Lava River Cave.
