Dress to kill! The ceremony and reception will be black tie, though we HIGHLY recommend flat shoes for all attendees, as the ceremony will be on bark dust. For the rest of the weekend, wear whatever makes you happy!
Honestly, we really should have said "Dinner Formal." Guys: Alaina will love you forever if you show up in a tux, but tuxes are not required. A formal suit and tie is also fine. If you show up just in khakis and a button-down though, you will be given side-eye. Gals: We are aiming for full-length glam here. This is formal wear, not cocktail wear if that helps. No, you don't have to go to some bougie boutique and get a dress encrusted with diamonds, but do think 'gown,' 'prom,' or 'opera.' There is no "showing up the bride" at this wedding, she wants you to dress your best. (Please no white, though.) All: The sole exception to this is foot-wear. We will be outdoors on bark dust, keep that in mind with any shoes, tux-tails, or dress-trains. We don't want any twisted ankles or ruined expensive outfits. There will be blankets to sit on to protect clothing during the ceremony for that reason also.
RSVPs on this site will be live after May 1, 2024. Please RSVP by July 5th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Please check your invite for your +1!
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please plan accordingly!
October in Bend might be warm, might be cold, might be rainy, might be snowy. We are hoping for sunny weather as the ceremony and reception will be outside, but plan accordingly!!
There is a lot at Elk Lake Resort by the visitor's center. The ceremony location is a short walk from there!
Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
Our wedding ceremony is fully outdoors, though the reception will be under a tent.
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. The rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception events will all be on barkdust. We HIGHLY recommend flat shoes. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
We have hired an excellent photographer for photos to share of the ceremony, so we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, and focus on the event. However, please take any and all photos you desire during the reception and any and all other events!
Please call/text our lovely maid of honor Georgia with questions at (503) 899-0625, or email at grmayfie@gmail.com. Thank you!
