We ask that our guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless you have a documented MEDICAL reason that a fully licensed physician has recommended you not receive a vaccine. Our loved ones include young children and people with preexisting medical conditions, and we want to ensure their safety and the safety of all our guests.
More than options! We are both vegan and would like to be able to eat the food at our own wedding. Therefore, the food will all be either vegan or vegetarian. If you have other dietary restrictions (ex. allergies, sensitivities, special diets), let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you!
Of course! But we also understand if parents want a night out without the kids. You do you!
Please RSVP by July 13th.
There is a parking ramp near the MIA, and plenty of free street parking.
We will have a table for cards at the reception. Wrapped gifts aren't allowed into the MIA and would need to be left at the entrance. Gifts bought through our Zola registry can be shipped directly to us, which is most convenient for everyone.
Semi-formal to Cocktail
Weather permitting the ceremony will be outdoors, but the reception will be indoors.
No one is changing their name. We would have considered both of us hyphenating, but Grantier-Hammarstedt looks and sounds ridiculous (and is 19 letters long, 20 if you count the hyphen).
No. Maya would've been angry if he had, and probably wouldn't have agreed to marry him. Magni knows Maya well enough to know this and was of a similar mind. Maya's family likes Magni very much, but Maya is a fully grown woman who is more than capable of making her own decisions and has very little patience for patriarchal traditions. Maya also didn't ask Magni's parents for permission to marry him, but no one seems to care about that.
