We're getting married!

We met on Hinge in late summer 2019 when Magni responded to Maya's "Two Truths and a Lie" prompt. The options were 1. I'm vegan, 2. I speak Hungarian, 3. I've climbed Mt. St. Helens. Magni guessed that Maya was vegetarian, not vegan. In truth, Maya only knows a couple of words of Hungarian. After talking for a few weeks, we decided to meet in person and had our first date at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. We knew very quickly that we had a lot in common and got along very well and after our fourth date (we went rock climbing, and Maya scared Magni to death by spectacularly falling from the very top of the wall) we decided to make it official. As 2020 started, we had big plans for the year. We started talking about moving in together in late summer, and we had a trip to Costa Rica with Magni's family planned for March. Then... well, you know what happened next. The trip was off, but the pandemic caused us to move our moving plans up a couple months, and Magni moved in with Maya in May, 2020. Some things that have happened since then: Magni went vegan, Maya started to follow baseball surprisingly intensely, we watched both Avatar: the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra at least three times, and we recently resumed (Magni) and started (Maya) climbing regularly. Maya has managed not to fall as spectacularly as she did on the fourth date. In March 2021, after discussing the prospect for several months, Magni asked, "So should we get married?" Maya responded, "Sure" and the rest was history. We are excited for our friends and family to join us to celebrate with us.
