The entire wedding weekend will take place at The Elms Hotel and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri! The Elms is 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City and 40 minutes from the Kansas City International Airport. Unless you're planning to rent a car, we HIGHLY recommend that you stay at The Elms with us! Excelsior Springs is a small town in a rural area away from downtown Kansas City. The Elms has many beautiful places to sit and schmooze, a very famous spa (we tried it-- it's amazing), indoor and outdoor pools, lovely grounds with places to walk and play lawn games, and a few different excellent food options. The town of Excelsior Springs also has restaurants and shops within walking distance. Check out the "Things to Do" tab for more details! Be sure to use the link to our room block below!

Book through our room block for your stay at The Elms! The room block includes discounted prices for the nights of both Saturday, Sep. 13 and Sunday, Sep. 14. You can book through the room block directly by clicking "View" below. NOTE: If you wish to extend your stay beyond Saturday and Sunday nights, you will need to reach out directly to Tori Foster at the Elms (816-629-2512) and she can get you sorted. We recommend going ahead and booking Saturday and Sunday nights first to guarantee your reservation and then following up with Tori to add on additional nights.

Shuttle

Shuttles from The Elms Hotel to Kansas City International Airport

September 15, 2025 6:30 am - 12:00 pm

Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis will be difficult to get from the Elms Hotel. We HIGHLY recommend either renting a car, booking chauffeur services through SuperShuttle Express (see "Alternative Travel Option" further down on this page), or signing up for one of the shuttles we are providing on Monday morning. We have arranged for 3 shuttles to transport people (free of charge) on the morning of Monday, September 15 from The Elms Hotel to Kansas City International Airport. Each shuttle has a capacity of 18 people, plus luggage. Plan to be ready 10-15 minutes prior to departure time to load luggage. The shuttle times are 6:30am, 10:00am, and 12:05pm. We recommend arriving to the Kansas City Airport at least 1-1.5 hours before your flight departure time (it's a relatively small and efficient airport). Sign up for a shuttle spot(s) now by pressing "View" under "9/15 Free Shuttle Sign-Up Sheet" below! NOTE: calling an Uber or Lyft at the airport to the Elms when you arrive in Kansas City shouldn't be a problem. Because of this, we are not providing shuttles from the airport to the Elms, JUST from the Elms back to the airport.

If the shuttle that you need is full, or if you can’t find a time that works for you, you can book a ride through our SuperShuttle Express page. SuperShuttle cars can be booked ahead of time, and are $55 for a ride of up to 4 people and 3 bags to the airport (equivalent to local Uber prices). Press "View" to book your ride.

Kansas City International Airport

Kansas City International Airport is a 40-minute drive from The Elms Hotel and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri! Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are widely available at the airport, and can take you to the hotel when you arrive in Kansas City. For your trip back to the airport on Monday, we are arranging for some shuttles to run from The Elms to the Kansas City International Airport.
