This hotel is a stone's throw from our wedding welcome dinner. Seriously, it is about a two minute walk. The hotel is also a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverly station and a 25-minute taxi ride from Edinburgh Airport. It is also just a 20-minute walk to Edinburgh Castle. The National Museum of Scotland, the Palace of Holyrood house and the city's main shopping streets are also just a five minute walk away! One of the most reasonably priced in a good location. Jamie's top recommendation.

Modern and unique hotel that's just a stone's throw from our wedding welcome dinner. Right next to the Voco Edinburgh Hotel and offers the same proximity to Waverly Station and other attractions, quite a bit more expensive, however.

15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to our wedding welcome dinner. In the heart of the city centre, with a tram stop to Edinburgh Airport nearby. Very close to shopping, restaurants and pubs. The most affordable option as well.

This hotel is a 20 minute walk and 5 minute drive to our wedding welcome dinner. It is situated in St Andrews Square, the heart of Edinburgh's Newtown. This hotel is very close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

Air B&B's are a good option for staying in Edinburgh as well. There are plenty and the prices vary depending on location and size. If you are looking to book an entire flat in city centre on Air B&B, the prices will be around the same as hotels. If you are looking for the most affordable alternative, there are lots of Air B&B hosts that rent out a single room within their flat. These are definitely the cheapest option but are often not private. If you are looking to book an Air B&B, make sure you know if you are booking the entire flat/apartment, or a single room. If you are looking for other affordable options, have a look in Leith. Leith is a bit far from city centre, but it still has great transportation links and is often cheaper.
