For those flying into Chicago, which is the closest major airport, there is a train from Chicago Union Station (downtown Chicago) to Union Pier Michigan. We can help coordinate pickups from Union Pier train station to get to the venue (1.5 miles away). Yay public transit! Note that Chicago is in Central Standard Time and Michigan is in Eastern Standard Time. For those driving from Chicago, take I-94 to avoid tolls or make sure to have some cash on hand!

The Lakeside Inn will be the venue for all wedding based activities including the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, Sunday brunch etc. We invite everyone to spend the majority of the weekend together at the inn. Book ASAP to stay onsite with us at the Lakeside Inn! Please call to reserve a room and mention Jess and Max to book. The rooms are not bookable online. Unfortunately, the inn isn't big enough for everyone to stay onsite. If you call and the inn is fully booked, we have included some options below that are very close to the inn. These other options may be ideal for groups that want to stick together. Note that the inn is an 1800s historic building. It is very cool, but the walls are thin and it will likely be a little loud the night of the wedding. If that doesn't sound good to you, the options below may be a better fit.
