Question

Food

Answer

We'll provide dinner Friday, dinner Saturday, and brunch Sunday. We will have a ton of snacks but any other meals will be on your own. The Inn does not have a restaurant on site. We recommend ordering in or going out to Union Pier to get breakfast/lunch the day of the wedding.

Question

Kiddos galore

Answer

We love all your kiddos. However, the Inn has a tight capacity and we cannot accommodate all the children in our family and friends' lives. That said, we know many of you have very young babies and may not be able to leave them for the weekend. If you NEED to bring your little ones (less than 3 years), please let us know. Note that the Lakeside Inn does NOT provide high chairs, cribs, etc. We will not have seating capacity for kids, so if they are coming they will be lap babies for meals. If you can take a weekend away from your kids, consider your babysitter our wedding gift.

Question

Packing

Answer

Bring good footwear, layers, sunscreen, athletic clothes, and a swimsuit. We hope to spend most of the weekend outside and on the beach. The Lakeside inn provides beach towels. The wedding ceremony will be 'garden chic,' which means dressy casual. Be comfortable, wear comfy shoes. The rest of the weekend will be 100% casual. This includes the rehearsal dinner. October weather could be chilly and could be warm and sunny. Pray for the latter, pack for both.
