Travel Note
There is an Amtrak stop in New London, just minutes from downtown and the ceremony site. The name of the Amtrak station is "New London" and it is found along the Northeast Regional Line. Guests can easily travel to our wedding via Amtrak from major east coast cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., Durham, and others.
Flight
Recommended Airports: -Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport in Warwick RI (near Providence); approximately 45 minutes from New London by car; Amtrak may be possible - Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford CT, approximately 1 hour from New London - Boston Logan International (BOS); approximately 2 hours from New London -Note that many east coast airports are Amtrak stops!
Hotel
This is our recommended hotel as it is only 14 minutes away from the venue and is located in charming downtown New London. We encourage guests to book rooms here (the earlier the better!), and we will have 50 seats on a shuttle bus available AFTER the wedding reception to return guests to the Dutch Tavern afterparty & this hotel area. They're right down the block from each other! Travel Note
There are plenty of AirBnB options in the Waterford, CT area if you'd like a more affordable or private option. Several listings are close to Harkness State Park (275 Great Neck Rd), and many are closer than hotels in the area. We also recommend booking these as soon as possible in advance of the popular June 2025 season.
Shuttle

To help everyone safely and easily get to the after-party location OR back to the downtown New London/recommended hotel area AFTER the wedding reception, we are offering a 50-seat shuttle to guests, departing around 10:15pm. Please indicate in your RSVP whether you'd like a spot on the shuttle bus. There are also plenty of Ubers and Lyfts in the area.
