FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. While we fully encourage everyone to bring their phones and cameras to document the day (along with your fabulous outfit and awesome dance moves), we politely request that all devices be turned off during the ceremony. Once we receive the professional images from our photographer after the wedding, we will be happy to send them to you! The album link will also be added to this webpage once available. For any other time, please take as many pictures as you'd like! Add #WasscherWedding to your social media posts so we can see them too!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we decided to make this an adult only affair.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but there will be a shuttle from the hotels to the reception and back. Please let the bride or groom know if you need transportation assistance to the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black tie - optional please. But we want you to feel comfortable for both an outdoor ceremony on grass and an indoor reception. Use it as an excuse to get gussied up and wear that outfit you have only been able to wear once.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please reply by July 10th, 2019 with your acceptance or regrets for both the ceremony and reception.

Question

Is the location handicap accessible?

Answer

Outdoor Ceremony at Virmond Park- Handicap parking is available, but there is no path from the parking lot to the ceremony area. It is a very short distance on level grass though. There is a portable restroom nearby, with additional toilets within walking distance. Reception Venue / Ceremony Back-up at Milwaukee Ale House- Handicap parking is available, however it is open to the public. There is an additional parking lot near the venue that has handicap accessible sidewalks. The reception will be on the 2nd floor, and there is an elevator available for use. Both bathrooms also have accessible stalls. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you have any concerns, and we will make sure to accommodate whatever you need. We want to see you there!

Question

The hotel says the room blocks are full, what do I do?

Answer

Please make sure you are using the links provided in the Travel & Accommodations page. There is a limited number of rooms blocked for our party at both the Hampton Inn and Townplace Suites, but it should be increased as the original block fills up. Please reach out to the bride or groom, and we will have the block extended. A block is not available for the Comfort Inn, so please book through their regular site instead.
