FLL is a great alternative to the Miami International Airport (MIA) and often offers competitive pricing. This smaller airport can also be a bit easier to navigate for those wanting to avoid crowds. Keep in mind that FLL will require an approximate 25-45min (with traffic) uber / taxi ride to the host hotel in downtown Miami.
