Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are helping us walk down the aisle!

Emily Rolston

Maid of Honor

Emily and Maura have been down since '92...literally. Having met in Miss Sages' Pre-K class at Holmes School in Mount Vernon, they became best friends. Maura admired Emily's proclivity for wearing pink and Emily loved Maura's fruit pants (jk). A fun fact from their early friendship: Maura was one of only a handful of Emily's friends to attend her 5th birthday party, as she had immunity to chicken pox. After Kindergarten, Emily and Maura went to different schools, only to reunite again in 7th grade at Ursuline and become besties yet again (this time without pink dresses and fruit pants). Since then, they have attended countless Yankees games together, engaged in a mutual admiration of Tino Martinez, traveled all over the US in Emily's Mini Cooper to visit baseball stadia, and dominated many, many a trivia game at Maggie Spillane's with the Smarty Pints. Maura is incredibly lucky to have Emily standing beside her on this special day!

Siobhan D'Angelo

Maid of Honor

Siobhan and Maura became friends as 7th graders at Ursuline, truly cementing their bond as they suffered through six years of Latin and one year of 7 am classical Greek together. Their relationship through high school and beyond was characterized by sitcom-level hijinks -- with Siobhan often inhabiting the role of Lucy and Maura encouraging said antics as her Ethel -- though they always avoided getting into too much trouble. Shenanigans aside, Maura and Siobhan remained close friends through college and into professional life, going on many memorable trips (including Hawaii, Vegas, and several to London) and seeing countless Broadway and West End shows together. Since graduating from law school, Siobhan has been Maura's "go to" for legal advice and interpretation of various Supreme Court rulings. Maura wouldn't dream of getting married without her Lucy by her side!

Christine Coira

Maid of Honor

Christine and Maura met as 7th graders at Ursuline, though it feels like they have been friends for a lifetime. Maura has always loved that Christine is down to do or try anything and has taken advantage of that on more than one occasion, even roping her into taking several Broadway Bodies dance workout classes with her. As they both have a mutual love of travel, over the years, they have taken some amazing trips together, including several to Puerto Rico, where Christine’s family adopted Maura one of their own. During their college years, Christine visited Maura (and Elena) in Washington, DC, so much, everyone just assumed she went to GW and adopted her into the friend group. As she’s now a midwestern girl living in Indiana, Maura is overjoyed that she made the trip back to the Empire State to be with her on her wedding day!

Erin Dengles Fielbig

Bridesmaid

Erin and Maura are 1st cousins by blood but friends by choice. As a kid, Maura would count down the days until she would spend summers and holidays with Grandma on Long Island and hang out with her cool cousin Erin. (Truth be told, this is still true today.) Erin has an amazing aesthetic sense – she is a talented graphic artist, and her home décor is right out of a magazine or Pinterest – not to mention she is the quintessential holiday hostess. It was no surprise that she knocked the decorations, displays, and games at Maura and Shaun’s Jack-and-Jill bridal shower out of the park! Maura was honored to serve as a bridesmaid in Erin’s wedding and could not be happier to have Erin by her side on her wedding day, too.

Candy Light Drahos

Bridesmaid

Candy is Shaun’s only sister, and funny enough, Maura knew Candy well before she met Shaun! Maura and Candy went to the same elementary school together at St. Pius X (as did most of the Light clan), though they were in different grades. Maura admires how passionate Candy is about art and how great of a dog mom she is to Quinn and Lyla, her Frenchies. Maura is so excited to be gaining a sister-in-law in Candy and is honored to have her as a bridesmaid!

Tara Doran

Bridesmaid

Tara and Maura have known each other for as long as they can remember (otherwise known as “since babyhood”). From trips to Fleetwood playground and pizza at Joe’s as toddlers, through some awkward middle school years, to multiple St. Patrick’s Day parades and countless Yankees games as teens and young adults, they have remained close friends. Frankly, Tara is basically a part of Maura’s family, and vice versa. Maura was fortunate to have survived the Northeast Blackout of 2003 with Tara (and with her mom and brother, Tom) – they were on line to see a taping of Late Night with Conan O’Brien when the power went out – and to have taken part in many a living room Doran/Climent family dance party over the years. Maura is secretly hoping Tara will bust out her amazing karaoke rendition of Lauryn Hill’s Ex-Factor at the reception, but even if she doesn’t, she is thrilled to have her by her side on her big day!

Elena Posthumus

Bridesmaid

Elena and Maura spent most of their middle and high school years being mistaken for one another. Truthfully, they spent so much time together, some people started to think they were twins. Coffee and bagel runs blasting Billy Joel and hanging out in train station parking lots during their high school years soon transitioned to a new stage of their friendship, when they both became students at THE George Washington University. At GW, they continued to be largely inseparable, though now within a larger group of awesome friends. Maura will always be grateful to Elena for hosting the most epic Fourth of July pool party birthday shindigs for her and can’t wait to jam out to S Club 7 with her at the reception.

Sam Young

Bridesmaid

Sam and Maura met circa 2012 where they both used to work (Rabin Martin), becoming fast friends as they bonded over work-induced stress, a passion for global health and development, and relatively high alcohol tolerances. Over the years, they became close, going to many Rangers vs. Habs and Yankees vs. Blue Jays games together (despite the intense rivalries) and sending countless Consulting Humor memes to each other on Instagram. When Maura was in graduate school in London, Sam made multiple trips over, going with her on an adventure to Edinburgh, complete with a dodgy Ryanair flight, veggie haggis, and extreme rain and cold. She even helped Maura bid adieu to London and move back to the states, accompanying her to her last cheeky Nando’s. Thankfully, Sam has learned to ignore Maura’s jokes about Canadians and agreed to be a special part of her wedding day – and Maura is so grateful!

Charlotte Light

Junior Bridesmaid

Charlotte is Shaun’s (and soon to be Maura’s) niece. She is an excellent lacrosse player, and always a bundle of energy and fun! She loves animals, especially dogs, horses, and dolphins. Shaun and Maura have enjoyed taking Charlotte (and her brother, Dylan) to several Yankees games and are so happy to have her as a junior bridesmaid at their wedding!

Harper Light

Flower Girl

Harper is Shaun’s (and soon to be Maura’s) niece and Shaun’s goddaughter. She is always smiling and loves the color purple, Toy Story, and Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Shaun and Maura have loved watching her grow up and are thrilled to have her as a Flower Girl in their wedding!

Trevor Nash

Best Man

Trevor is Shaun's 1st cousin and Best Man.

Groomsman

Carlton is Shaun's oldest brother and a groomsman.

Darron is Shaun's second oldest brother and a groomsman.

Dwayne Light

Groomsman

Dwayne is Shaun's younger brother and a groomsman.

Kyle is Shaun's youngest brother and a groomsman.

Groomsman

Dan, affectionately known as "Dre," is Shaun's brother-in-law and a groomsman.
