Fly Creek Cider Mill is an historic, water-powered cider mill on the banks of Fly Creek that has been pressing fresh, sweet cider for over 160 years...and is just minutes from Cooperstown. Enjoy cider mill tours and tastings, shop at their Mill Store Marketplace for home-style foods, or meet the ducks and chickens that inhabit the mill pond. Shaun and Maura especially enjoy the rubber ducky races! The mill is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Designed by Devereux Emmet in 1909, the championship 18-hole, par-72, 6,324-yard course is open to the public as well as guests of The Otesaga and The Cooper Inn. The course was named one of the 10 best public courses in New York State by GolfWeek, and was ranked second overall in the New York region by Zagat Survey. Shaun's parents, Candy and Dennis, enjoyed playing golf on the course on a recent summer visit to Cooperstown and look forward to playing on the course as the leaves begin to change in September. The golf course has tee times daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
