Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

We keep it simple down here, only one airport to choose from: Austin-Bergstrom! It's about 15-20 minutes from downtown. For those wondering on the background: the airport lies on the site of what was Bergstrom Air Force Base, named after Captain John August Earl Bergstrom, an officer who was the first person from Austin to be killed in WW2.

We will have a chartered shuttle taking guests from the Fairmont to the Wildflower Center on the wedding day. The shuttle will leave at 5:00 PM. Please plan to meet in the Fairmont lobby at 4:50 PM so you have time to board and secure a seat before departure

Fairmont Parking and Valet

For guests planning to park at the Fairmont, both valet and self‑parking are available. Parking in downtown Austin can be tricky and the costs add up quickly, so we highly recommend using Uber, Lyft, Waymo, or carpooling if possible. Self‑Parking Rates: 0–3 hours: $25 (plus tax), then $10 per hour Overnight: $55 (plus tax) Valet Parking Rates: 0–3 hours: $36 (plus tax), then $10 per hour Overnight: $68 (plus tax) Oversized vehicles: $75 If you do choose to park, please allow extra time in case the garage or valet is busy.
