Matt has loved (or tormented with affection, depending on who you ask) Nate since day one. Nate is a voracious cookie connoisseur, a life long learner (he’s been known to unwittingly spend an entire afternoon in a Wikipedia black hole), and one of the smartest, kindest people around. Matt is truly lucky to have had his best friend fall right in his lap.

Elkie and Sarah met in Grad School, where they both worked in W&M's Reves Center for International Studies. They bonded over an enthralling History of Higher Ed course and a mutual love of dogs, wine, and Grey's Anatomy. Elkie's fantastic sense of humor and ability to exercise for 10 hours straight are a constant source of inspiration.

Groomsman
Jared is Matt’s cousin, and is essentially a second brother. He’s always willing to be a sounding board for Matt’s crazy ideas, and for that Matt is ever grateful. Jared is a gym rat, nutrition expert, and is always ready for the next adventure!
Laura Dziuban
Bridesmaid
Laura and Sarah met at a W&M alumnae event, where they realized they both work for Boston University Global Programs. The two quickly discovered that they have an insane amount in common, including a love of The Tribe, working with students, travelling the world, a good book, Thai food, and musicals. In fact, the only major difference they've found is that Laura is a cat person.

Matt is Matt’s oldest friend—haha we know...confusing, right? They’ve known each other since Matt (the groom) was three, which practically makes them family. Matt (the groomsman) is a wiz in the kitchen, a constant source of comic gold, and as reliable a friend as anyone could ever ask for.
Leah Daniel

Leah is Matt’s younger sister. She’ll be the first one to correct you if you’re wrong, but chances are she’s right—she’s as sharp as they come. But don’t let that fiery personality fool you. She cares deeply about helping those less fortunate and will always go out of her way for those she loves.
Ben VanKirk
Usher
Ben is Sarah's youngest brother. Even though he never seems to have his own life together, Ben is a constant source of sage wisdom. He is best known for his quick wit and can usually be found outdoors, or complaining about being indoors.
James VanKirk
Usher
James is Sarah's middle brother. Known for his ability to consume triple the amount of food as everyone else and still maintain impeccable physical fitness, James is always open to trying something new (ask him about skydiving!) or taking a selfie. He's also a pretty stellar musician.
