We ask that our guests be vaccinated for the safety of our loved ones and the people who are making our day possible. Our venues are following all local protocols. Weather permitting, our morning ceremony and reception will be held outside and in an open-air tent. Our evening reception will be indoors. Currently Massachusetts does not require distancing and masks. However, you are more than welcome to do what makes you feel comfortable. We recommend that our guests wear masks except while eating at our evening event.
It's going to be a long day, so we want our guests to be comfortable! We recommend cocktail attire- dresses and jackets or blazers--or traditional Habesha clothing. Please do not worry about bringing two outfits. Whatever you choose to wear in the morning will be perfect for the evening celebrations as well!
For our out of town guests, we recommend that you use Uber or Lyft to get around Boston. The MBTA is also very easy to navigate and generally reliable. If you're feeling especially confident in your city driving, it is easy to rent a car at the airport or elsewhere in the city. Please keep in mind that parking is available at our venues, but is difficult to find if you drive in downtown Boston.
No. Please, keep your phone stowed away. We want you to enjoy our celebration in the moment. We have hired a professional photographer to take beautiful pictures. All of the memories will be captured and shared with our guests when we receive them.
