Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Maggie Hodgson Mosley and Matthew Caraballo
As excited as we are to celebrate with you, we know that it's also a holiday weekend and you might want to spend time just with each other. Fort Collins is chock full of fun, relaxing, and unique experiences for all kinds of visitors. Whether you love exploring local breweries, strolling through historic Old Town, hiking scenic trails, or enjoying kid-friendly attractions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy—at your own pace! There should also be a ton of events going on since it's Labor Day weekend, so absolutely do your research to find the activity best suited for you!

Old Town Walking Tour

199 Trimble Ct, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Self-guided stroll through historic downtown, art murals, and local shops. The best place to start would be in Old Town Square! Walk up and down College Ave and you'll find tons of shops to go in! A fun place to end is the Exchange!

Brewery Tour

500 Linden Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524

We have a TON of breweries in Fort Collins--we are notoriously known for our beer. If you like your craft beer, then this is the place to go! New Belgium has a GREAT free tour to go on if you'd like to learn more about the beer making process (and its a great place to start or end your tour).

Horsetooth Reservoir

CO

Hiking, boating, picnicking, and scenic views! Try stand up paddleboarding!

Horsetooth Mountain Open Space

6550 West County Road 38 East, Fort Collins, CO 80526

Beautiful hiking! Hike up to the "horse's tooth" or do a shorter hike to the waterfall! Maggie grew up hiking these EVERY Christmas Eve!

Fort Fun

1513 East Mulberry Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Mini-golf, go-karts, arcade!!!

A Wanderlust Adventure

4120 West County Road 54G, Laporte, CO 80535

Go whitewater rafting on the Poudre River!!! However, this is VERY dependent on water levels, so be sure to do your research (i.e. call).

Poudre River Trail

Poudre River Trail, Laporte, CO

Walking, biking, running along the river

Coyote Ridge Natural Area

Spring Mesa Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526

Scenic hiking trails

Larimer County Farmers' Market

200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521

Seasonal market with local foods and crafts

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

A relatively quick day trip, but absolutely gorgeous if you feel like you have time! Tons of hikes, drives, wildlife (great time of year for looking for elk), and alpine lakes! But, be sure to look into timed entry/reservations.
