Flight

LGA (recommended), EWR, JFK, or HPN

For international and most other guests, you will want to fly into one of NYC's airports, LGA, EWR, or JFK. LGA is closest to Stamford: 70 minutes via car or 90 minutes via public transport. If you are staying in New York City, our apartment is a 30 minute drive from EWR. If you happen to be coming from or transferring from the East coast or O'Hare (ORD), your city may have a direct flight to Westchester Country Airport (HPN). Rideshare to Stamford is $100+ and subject to heavy traffic, so if you can fly into/out of HPN, it is recommended.

Consider rideshare

Consider rideshare (Uber/Lyft) which will cost approximately ~$360 for all car-based transport over the weekend. There is very limited free parking in downtown Stamford. To get from the airport to Stamford or The Sheffield, Uber now runs a shuttle to either Grand Central or "Times Square"/56th Street, respectively. For transport to and from NYC, we recommend that you download the MTA TrainTime app, where you can easily buy tickets for the Metro North train which runs between Stamford Train Station and Grand Central, NYC.
