Is there parking at Union Mills?

Answer

There is a small parking lot located at Union Mills; however, spots are limited. There are also multiple pay-to-park garages in Frederick that are available walking distance to the venue. The closest garage would be the East All Saints Street Parking Garage, which is 0.2 miles (5 minute walk) from Union Mills. Guests will also be able to park at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel and use our shuttle service to get to and from the venue. The Visitation Hotel also offers valet service and is 0.4 miles (8 minute walk) from the venue.

What should I wear?

Answer

Requested attire is formal: suits and ties or tuxedos for men, evening gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for women. Most importantly, we want everyone to feel their best and enjoy celebrating with us!

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly request that only those listed on your invitation attend. We appreciate your assistance as we keep our celebration intimate.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re so excited to share this moment with you! We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We have an amazing photographer and videographer who will capture every special moment to share later. After the ceremony, snap away! We can’t wait to see your photos and videos from the rest of the night.

Are there any events before or after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be gathering for welcome drinks on Friday evening before the wedding. Please feel free to stop by anytime (no RSVP needed). The time and location will be shared soon on the schedule page of our website. After the reception, please join us for an after party at Union Mills Public House to keep the celebration going! Transportation will be provided back to the Courtyard Marriott for guests who choose to stay.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due by August 30th. If we don’t hear from you by then, we will assume you’re unable to attend and will mark you as “no.”
