The Wedding Website of Lauren Siegel and Matt Seiss
We recommend booking accommodations sooner than later as it is a holiday weekend in the mountains! The two main airports people fly into are Eagle Vail (EGE) and Denver International Airport (DIA). DIA will be much less expensive, but you will have much more travel to get to the mountains, but we have options! The one thing you should know for any form of transportation from Denver to Vail is that traffic to and from the mountains can be unpredictable, so always allot more time than you think you need (especially heading back to the airport). If you are unsure about timing and need assistance, please reach out!

Hotel

Grand Hyatt Vail

1300 Westhaven Drive
Vail, CO 81657
 (970) 476-1234

We have a room block! Please ask for the Siegel-Seiss wedding to get the discounted rate. We have limited rooms in the block, if you try to book and there are none left, let us know and we can look to add more rooms or suggest other options.

House Or Rental

AirBnB and VRBO

There are great properties in the area for you/family/friends to rent. We recommend staying in the Lionshead or Vail Village area, though if you rent a car, you could go towards Edwards, too!

Rental Car

Ride Bustang - Shuttle Van

This shuttle van has tickets that are 50% off through September 5th with promo code "flight," making it $20 roundtrip! This option requires that you find transportation to Denver Union Station (about 34 minutes from the airport by car and 37 minutes by train). Uber and Lyft are always popular options, especially if there are a few people to split it, but there is also the RTD, which is the Denver train. You should look to buy a ticket from Denver Union Station to Vail Transportation Center and back. Bustang has multiple times per day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They do not have trips on Monday, and only have a couple on Thursdays.

Rental Car

Bustang West Line - Coach Bus

September 1, 2022 12:00 am - 12:00 am

The West Line is about $15 - 25 each way (no discount we found) and is a Coach Bus. There are only 3 or 4 times a day that this one runs from Denver Union Station to/from Vail Transportation Center. This option requires that you find transportation to Denver Union Station (about 34 minutes from the airport by car and 37 minutes by train). Uber and Lyft are always popular options, especially if there are a few people to split it, but there is also the RTD, which is the Denver train. You should look to buy a ticket on the West Line from Denver Union Station to Vail Transportation Center and back.

Rental Car

Rent a car @ Denver International Airport

Renting a car can be expensive, but if you can find another couple of people to rent with you, this is also a great option for getting to and from Vail. We have a reduced overnight parking rate at the hotel for our block as well.

Rental Car

Mountain Shuttle

We feel this option in the least amount of hassle as it is door-to-door, airport to Vail. The mountain shuttle has multiple options: 1) $54 each way for DIA to the Vail Transportation Center, 2) $64 each way for DIA to the Grand Hyatt, 3) there are private/group shuttles that may end up being less money if you get enough people - these can take you directly from DIA to the Grand Hyatt as well. Smaller shuttles can take up to 6 people and the larger shuttles can take up to 14 people.

Rental Car

Greyhound

There are options every couple hours from/to Denver Union Station / Vail Transportation Center and normally roundtrip will be less than $40. This option requires that you find transportation to Denver Union Station (about 34 minutes from the airport by car and about 37 minutes by train). Uber and Lyft are always popular options, especially if there are a few people to split it, but there is also the RTD, which is the Denver train.

Shuttle

Shuttle from Grand Hyatt to Vail Village

September 1, 2022 12:00 am - 12:00 am

The shuttles run about every 15 minutes from the front of the Grand Hyatt to Vail Village Transportation Center every day. The only time you will be needing to leave the hotel for the wedding weekend is for the Welcome Party! Once at the transportation center, you take the steps down towards the village, and Deca - Bol will be on your right! This is where our Welcome Party will be held on Saturday night at 8pm. The shuttle is also a great way to get to the village for the farmers market or to wander around.

Travel Note

Important Travel Information

Anything that drops you at the Vail Transportation Center works, as The Vail Transportation Center is where the Grand Hyatt shuttle runs to and from for free, so once you get to Vail, hop on that shuttle if you are staying at the Grand Hyatt, or grab an Uber or Lyft to your final destination. RTD is $10.50 from DIA to Union Station via train and it takes 37 minutes. The train is usually pretty empty and cheaper than Uber/Lyft. If you have an Epic Pass, then the Epic Shuttle offers discounts and can be a good option: https://www.epicmountainexpress.com/breckenridge-shuttles?gclid=CjwKCAjwqauVBhBGEiwAXOepkTvApRCTJijWc-21VY0Gou8ISP9ukSaxiyW2oO3hU_G7TSNPCsM4DhoCgLMQAvD_BwE
