Alternatively, you can fly into Ontario (ONT), Los Angeles (LAX), or San Diego (SAN) and rent a car to drive into the Palm Springs area. Ontario is ~1.5 hours from Indian Wells and Los Angeles / San Diego are both ~2.5 hours away.
