Airports

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)- Located along the Potomac, this airport is the closest being 15 mins to Old Town and DC. (Metro) Dulles International Airport (IAD)- Located in Virginia, west of the city, the airport is 30 mins from Old Town and DC. (Metro) Baltimore/Washington International (BWI)- Located in Maryland, this airport is 45 mins from Old Town and DC. (Amtrak)

Train

Train & Metro

Amtrak Train - If you live on the East Coast, the train may be a great option to travel to the area. The best stops will be Union Station in DC or Alexandria located at the top of King Street. Both stations also have metro access. Metro- You can use the metro to travel between DC and Old Town. Trains run from 5am - 12am (2am on weekends). See the website for more information.

Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria by IHG

Located near the waterfront, 3 blocks from the church. While the room rates on the website show an added $29 fee, this amenity fee will be waived for our room block upon check in. Self-parking is available in an underground garage accessible from street level. Overnight parking is $42 per night (plus taxes) with unlimited in and out privileges. Take ticket from gate to front desk for in and out activation.

Located 4 blocks from the church. Be sure to check out their speakeasy and rooftop with incredible views! Parking is not onsite. However, the hotel offers Valet Parking – $45 + tax (per each night of stay). Valet parking is available with in and out access available 24 hours a day.

Located 3 blocks from the reception venue. The hotel offers Valet parking starting at $12 and going up to $75 for overnight parking. You can self park in the 10th Street Garage attached to the hotel ($12-$48) or the 11th Street City Center Garage (pricing variable).

Travel Note

Parking for the Reception

The NMWA does not have its own parking. If you plan to drive to the museum, we suggest parking at the 10th street garage connected to the Hyatt Hotel as it is open 24 hours. See the website for more information. Be mindful of the closing time if you choose to park in a different garage. Street parking is also an option but please read the signs carefully.
