Fall Formal Attire. We invite you to wear your favorite fall colors and fabrics. Feel free to have fun with your outfit choices! October in Alexandria & DC can be quite warm or a bit chilly. Friday evening welcome drinks will take place outside. All Saturday events will take place indoors. The beautiful Old Town brick sidewalks are often uneven. Please be mindful of your shoe choice if you plan to walk to the ceremony from your hotel.
You may choose to walk to the church if you are staying at one of the Old Town hotels. If you drive, parking is available in three different lots surrounding the church. 1- On South Pitt Street, between Duke and Wolfe Streets. 2- On the corner of Duke and South Fairfax Streets. 3- On the corner of South Royal and Wolfe Streets. Here are a few suggestions! - Alexandria History Museum at the Lyceum: For just $3 you can learn about the history of Alexandria in 30 minutes or less. - Get Spooked on Captain's Row: Admire and take photos with the impressive Halloween decor on the 100 block of Prince Street (between S Lee St and S Union St) - Waterfront Park: From cannons, to ships, to art installations, Waterfront park along the Potomac has it all. Sit on a bench to take in the sights or walk around and explore. - Cheers to a Lifetime of Love: Grab a drink of your choice at one of our favorite nearby spots- Josephine, Barca, or Cooper Mill
