San Diego is recognized for the San Diego Zoo being the best zoo in the US, however the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is even better.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

This is a great place to walk around. The seals languish on the beach and are fun to watch. There are also some great little restaurants and shops nearby.

Liberty Station Public Market is just like a European food hall. There are a ton of different food and dessert options plus some unique artisan shops.
