Genuinely one of the most beautiful villas either of us have seen. Explore the gardens - which use only pressure and gravity, see the stunning frescos from the same artist as Castello Brancaccio, and admire the beautiful statues.
Villa Adriana, Tivoli
What does a Roman emperor do when the city is too stressful? Go to his villa, of course! Visit the ancient historical UNESCO site filled with ruins, olive groves, and water features on the way to or from Tivoli.
Pommidoro dal 1890 Ristorante, Rome
Enjoy the first recorded carbonara on record at Pommidoro. Featured in Stanley Tucci's "Searching For Italy", this quaint family run business on the east side of Rome is a must-visit for pasta fiends. Be sure to book a reservation through Jotform as they fill up incredibly quickly these days. And we recommend taking a cab there - it's about a 45 minute walk from Trevi, and is not *exactly* the nicest area.
Piazza Navona, Rome
While a simple, beautiful square with historic churches and buildings, it also features some incredible patio dining and people watching. Our favourite? Gelateria Tre Fontane and its neighbouring brasserie make for a perfect accompaniment for a toasty day, overlooking Neptune's Fountain.

Enjoy the dulcet tones of jazz in one of Rome's trendiest spots. Gregory's features two phenomenal talents each night, with only a small surcharge on dinner to enjoy the live music. The menu highlights fresh and unique sushi flavours unlike anywhere else. Just don't ask for the recommended grappa - it's a bit... strong?
