Kelly Wildermuth

Bride

Matt LePage

Groom

Erin Schilling

Maid of Honor

Erin and I have been best friends for nearly 12 years. We met in high school after we both moved from different middle schools and bonded over the fact we did not grow up galivanting around on golf cart paths in the PTC bubble (at least not yet). We have remained close friends ever since! Erin and I survived our high school girl group, our senior year trip to Daytona Beach in which we first discovered the joys and despairs of day drinking, countless front row concerts and music festivals, college weekend visits, living together in 2020 when we had family dinners every night, many adventures down the Chattahoochee River, and now her moving to VA too! Erin is my oldest friend and there is no one else I could imagine being my Maid of Honor! Erin would love to take credit for Matt and I's entire relationship, but truly, she did give us the gentle push we needed to actually get together all those years ago. We both love her so much!

Aidan Fielding

Best Man

I count myself lucky to have such good friends, and Aidan has always been a special one. Maybe it's our shared birthday, but that might be a stretch. Aidan and I met back in Peachtree City almost ten years ago at our local rock climbing gym. Funnily enough, Aidan taught me how to routeset all those years ago... what a life that turned into. He always supports me in life and provides many unforgettable experiences, dumb karate moves, late nights/bad mornings, and words of wisdom. That being said, he will be driving to our wedding in his van that works over half of the time we talk on the phone. We sure hope he can make it!

Casey McDonald

Bridesmaid

Casey and I were introduced by Erin in our sophomore year of college! Casey made quite the impression on me when we first met at a party in Athens by asking me an extremely intimate personal question right after the initial hellos. At first I was in complete shock, but then of course, I just answered her question and we have remained friends and become closer ever since. Casey is the best listener I have ever met and since I tend to overshare, she must know every little thing about me, my family, Matt, and our relationship at this point in our friendship. While we've never officially lived together, Casey has been an honorary roommate in both Atlanta and VA over the years. I am so excited to have her as my bridesmaid and Matt and I both couldn't do this without her!

Evan Johnson

Groomsman

Evan and I met through a mutually beneficial friendship. Evan was good at school, which was never my forte. Evan and I sat next to each other in the same Spanish class and he passed every test. Conveniently, I did too. While that is a true story, Evan and I's friendship is much deeper than a little bit of academic dishonesty. We spent a lot of time together after high school, most of this was spent driving to Athens while he attempted to woo Erin, Kelly's maid of honor. He is one we can always count on to find a quick witted joke in something mundane while maintaining the scholar energy. I cannot tell you how many hundred intellectual conversations that he and Kelly have gone down a 2-hour rabbit hole on while I am completely lost.

Faith Terry

Bridesmaid

Faith and I have also been friends since high school. Although we haven't lived close to each other for any extended period of time since then, Faith is always SO supportive of me through every phase of my life and I am so grateful for her! Faith even made quite the impression on my brother one night at our parent's house when he suddenly proclaimed his love for her to Matt and me. We insisted he barely knew anything about her, to which he responded "We both like....poetry!" which does stand to be true I suppose! But alas, David's one-night-long crush did not stand the test of time, but Faith and I's friendship definitely has! No matter how long it's been, Faith and I always talk like no time has passed at all. She's traveling the farthest for our wedding - all the way from California.

Alex Hamson

Groomsman

Alex and I have known each other for over 10 years. We met through our mutual friend group but have stayed extremely close through the years. He is a dog lover like myself and actually was fostering Goose before we took over and made him ours. Kelly and I always know that we are in good hands when we go home to visit Alex and have always considered him the best host ever. He is a Firefighter/EMT back in Georgia and still humors my constant texts and calls asking about mystery diseases, to which he always replies "I don't know anything about that." A blessing in disguise, just like him.

Daria Saponaro

Bridesmaid

Daria and I met in college at Stetson University. We lived together in DeLand and had countless study sessions, family dinners, backyard hangs, beach days, hammock parties, concerts, and everything in between. Plus, I definitely forced Daria and Jason to pay for a climbing gym family membership our senior year. And of course I could never forget Daria and I's screams when Jason's life size inflatable friend who haunted our house suddenly fell from her closet to the hallway. Being a music major together creates a bond like no other and I am so grateful to Daria for being a part of our wedding day! And thankfully, her and Jason definitely approved when they met Matt back in college.

George Chavez

Groomsman

George and I met in ATL working together at Stone Summit and funnily enough, we did not care for each other much. Eventually, we discovered we could each benefit by working together to get out of work early so we could play hooky and see the Braves World Series parade. The rest was history and we grew to hang out every weekend. George and Kelly kept the friendship up when I moved to Virginia, and he ended up living with us for a bit after moving here too. We have a shared love of happy hour margaritas and spend our time desperately trying to convince Kelly that it's really not the end of the world if we eat Mexican two nights in a row...

Kathy Wildermuth

Mother of the Bride

My Mom and Dad are an excellent team and they have been my entire life, so in honor of that, I wanted to write this for my parents together. We are so incredibly grateful to Mom and Dad for all their love and support for the entirety of Matt and I's relationship. I am very close to my parents and I go to them with anything and everything. They are a great example of what it means to really choose each other every day of their 28 year marriage. I am so lucky and Matt and I both love them so much. It has been so beautiful seeing my mom and dad whole-heartedly embrace Matt as a part of our family over the past seven years. Plus, they might just be some of our absolute favorite going out buddies - they are really the life of the party! :) Mom - No matter how many trips Matt and I go on in our lives together - you will always be my OG favorite travel buddy!

Maria LePage

Mother of the Groom

My mother has taught me resiliency and love. She always puts everything she has into her children and has molded me into who I am today in ways she could never know. My mom always believed in Kelly and I as a couple despite the occasional sweet things she says to me like, "she's gonna leave you if you don't stop bothering her" or "I don't know how she puts up with you." Mom and Kelly frequently bond over my annoying habits. Regardless, my family has always welcomed Kelly as one of their own and has been waiting for this day for a long time now. I know Kelly and I are entering this new chapter of our life with heavy support and love on both sides. We can't wait to share this special day with my mom!

Kevin Wildermuth

Father of the Bride

We are so incredibly grateful to my parents for all their love and support for the entirety of Matt and I's relationship. :) Dad - I promise I'll continue to call you every single time something breaks and Matt and I have no idea how to fix it - and honestly just every time I need advice about literally anything.

Jean-Pierre LePage

Father of the Groom

My dad and I have a lot of shared loves in this life: live music, beer, and good food just to name a few. It won't feel right if he doesn't proclaim "Let's mangia!" before diving into a plate of food very slowly, something he and Kevin have in common. I can always count on my dad buying a ticket to see his favorite band when they come around town - a habit my bank account and I surely picked up from him. I have faith that he will completely butcher the pronunciation of "Scofflaw," one of our favorite ATL breweries by asking me if I've tried the new "Skallaw" beer every time. One thing we did not expect when Kelly and I moved to VA was for her dad to take my place as the resident concert/beer buddy. But there could surely be worse things in the world. We can't wait to show my dad our home in Old Town and have him at our special day!

Jason Schmidt

Officiant

Jason and I met in college at Stetson University and he has remained an extremely dear friend to both Matt and I throughout the past seven years. Jason is someone we both talk to and confide in, someone we go to for advice, and always the person we wish were around even when he isn't. When Matt and I decided we wanted a close friend to marry us, we didn't even have to say it out loud - we both knew exactly who it should be! Jason is one of a kind - and lucky for me, he even forgave me when I convinced he and Daria to 'Shoot the Hooch' with us in Atlanta and our mega raft popped a hole, deflated, and we got to swim down the entire portion of the river instead of float- and of course, the water was significantly colder than Tampa! We cannot wait to have Jason there for our special day - although I told Matt I'm stealing him for the Bachelorette Party ;)

Goose (K-9)

Best Boy

Enjoys long walks along the beach, sidewalk, river, towns, trails, or really anywhere. On the contrary, also an avid fan of morning naps, afternoon naps, belly up naps, floor naps, and pre-bed naps. Goose has a personal vendetta with playing fetch with a tennis ball as he much prefers playing with a stick then sneaking off to take massive chomps out of it. Because why play fetch with a ball when you can make your humans buy millions of squeaky balls that you exclusively chew through the squeaker in five minutes of nonstop squeaker action at home. This dog is a big softy that made a soft spot in both Kelly and I's hearts forever, and while he won't be joining us at our ceremony, we couldn't go without mentioning our favorite little heartbeat that joins us at our feet everyday!

David Wildermuth

Usher/Brother of the Bride

David is my younger brother by two and a half years. While David would tell you I was bossy and opinionated as a kid (completely different now, right Matt?), I would say I was just very passionate about caring for my little brother! From our frequent 'game' as kids of pushing our doors on either side so hard we worried they would break in half, to fighting about what time to leave for school, to the many baseball games and chorus concerts, I am so lucky to have David as my little brother. No one else in the world understands your childhood like your sibling and I am so proud of who he has become! I remember about a year into Matt and I's relationship, David told me he'd take Matt's side if we ever broke up and I took that as a sign he approved! So, thank you United States Air Force for giving him leave to be a part of Matt and I's wedding! We love you little bro!

Emily LePage

Usher/Sister of the Groom

Emily is my baby sister. While we grew far apart in distance when I moved to ATL then Virginia, I have always admired the person she is and has grown into. In a family where neither of her brothers were big on the whole 'school' thing, Emily chose her own path and thrives in every avenue she sets her mind towards. She is a college student who loves learning so much that she has changed her major at least 9 times (might have only been once, I lost track). She is fully dedicated to herself, her future, and the people around her. I envy her friends because from the outside, no one cares more about the people she loves than Emily. When Kelly and I first started dating, Emily would always play it cool when Kelly was around, but when it was just us, she would always ask when Kelly was coming over next. I know Emily has been waiting on this day for a while and we are all glad it finally came and Emily will be there to greet our loved ones at the door!
