For those who are flying in, the Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the closest option, about a 1 hour drive. Sacramento (SMF) is another option, about a 2:45 drive to the venue.
Please plan on bringing an outer layer for nighttime activities. Welcome Party: Elevated Casual. Think elevated fall vibes—stylish but relaxed. Sundresses, jumpsuits, skirts, dress pants, button-down shirts, and other stylish yet relaxed attire. No tie or suit jacket required; no shorts please. Ceremony and Reception: Semi Formal. For Men: a suit or blazer with dress pants. A tie is recommended but not required. For Women: mid or full length dress, and avoid spiky heels due to the grounds at the venue. Consider outfit appropriate outerwear for the cooler evening temperatures.
Fall in Tahoe is one of the best times of year. The weather during the day is typically sunny and in the high 60s to low 70s. At night, it can cool down to the 50s and 60s, so we recommend bringing some layers.
There are two restaurants on property: Fifty44 (Steakhouse) & Middle Fork Bar & Bistro (casual dining, located in Altitude Recreation Center). Below are each of their availabilities for the weekend: - Thursday: Both restaurants will be open (Fifty44 & Middle Fork Bar & Bistro) - Friday: Fifty 44 is open starting from 8am - Saturday: Nakoma sets up a breakfast & brunch buffet for purchase at Middle Fork Bar & Bistro (8am - 11am)
Wedding drinks are on us! If you’re feeling generous, the bartenders will have a tip jar, so feel free to bring some cash for gratuity.
While we love your children and fur-babies, all events on the Nakoma property will be adults only. We appreciate your understanding!
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
