Things To Do

There are so many great things to do on Nantucket! We've listed a few of our favorite spots. If the weather is nice, head over to Young's Bicycle and rent a bike to explore the great bike paths that can get you to all areas of the island. We hope you have some time to explore and enjoy!
Nantucket Historical Association

Nantucket Historical Association

15 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-1894

Get to know the island and its rich history at the Whaling Museum. This is where we met and where Katie spent the majority of her life on the island. Yes, you'll see some of it at the wedding, but it's totally worth going again. Check out the programs, learn about scrimshaw, and learn about what put Nantucket on the map.

Brant Point

Brant Point

Nantucket, MA 02554

The most photographed place on the island! Take a short walk out of downtown and get your basic Nantucket photo taken.

Cisco Brewers

Cisco Brewers

5 Bartlett Farm Road, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 325-5929

One of our favorite spots and one of the best craft breweries in America! They also have mixed drinks and wine. You'll love this place. It is located mid-island, so you'll need to Uber/Lyft/taxi or have your own transportation.

Sankaty Head Lighthouse

Sankaty Head Lighthouse

Nantucket, MA 02554

A great spot if you can get to it!

Nantucket Downtown Historic District

Nantucket Downtown Historic District

2 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket, MA 02554

Downtown Nantucket is a great starting point for so many things. Go explore the wharf(s), eat at some great old restaurants, check out the countless pre-Civil War historic buildings and find a bar to go to!

Siasconset

Siasconset

Nantucket, MA

The only part of the island with a zip code that's not 02554, 'Sconset is a quaint artist cottage town from the 1900s. It's a great place to wander, and if you're especially nosey, find the bluff walk that will take you on a pathway basically through people's backyards. Great views all the way! And Bill Belichick has a home out here!

Madaket

Madaket

Nantucket, MA 02554

Matt's favorite side of the island. He used to bike there all the time. In the summer, it has one of our favorite restaurants with the best margarita. In November, it won't be open, but it's still worth heading out to Madaket Beach and enjoying the view. If you're a Mr. Roger's fan, you'll enjoy that he had a house on this part of the island and spent a lot of time there.

Serengeti Nantucket

Serengeti Nantucket

Tom Nevers Road, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-2884

This place is awesome, and it's nicknamed the Nantucket Serengeti for a reason! A great place to explore and take photos, and also the place to go if you want to check out some cranberry bogs. Plus, it's on the way to 'Sconset if you're already checking that out.

Nantucket Unitarian Church

Nantucket Unitarian Church

11 Orange Street, Nantucket, MA 02554

One of the oldest and most historic buildings on Nantucket, this is where Matt's parents got married on March 8, 1986!
