Summer 2022, Matt convinced Julie to backpack 50 miles in 5 days in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. The view of the Chinese Wall was decidedly well worth it.

Julie decided she wanted to see Matt between the months of December and April, so she picked skiing back up. It has been a lot of fun taking ski trips to our local California and Oregon mountains.

Meeting up for spring ski trips with Matt's parents Bill and Elizabeth has been a fun new tradition. This was taken in Ashland Oregon in February 2023! (Matching jackets was a funny coincidence)

Visiting Missoula with friends and family is always a highlight of our summers. Here we are at Gild in summer 2021.

For Christmas 2022 we traveled to Costa Rica with Julie's parents, Sylvia and Terry, and sister Jennifer. This was taken when we saw the our first sunset upon arrival.
